In this lab you will decode actual 5G identifiers extracted from sample NAS protocol messages. Starting with a hex-encoded SUCI you will extract each constituent field including the SUPI format indicating whether the identity is an IMSI or NAI, the home network ID containing MCC and MNC, the routing indicator, the protection scheme identifier that specifies null encryption or ECIES Profile A or Profile B, the home network public key ID, and finally the concealed MSIN portion. You will then decode a 5G-GUTI into its GUAMI components and break down a TAI into its PLMN and TAC fields.
